What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is accessing and utilizing the subconscious, but why is that important? Your conscious brain is able to process 2,000 bits of information per second, which is pretty good right? Not compaired to your subconscious, which is able to process 400,000,000,000 bits of information per second! Talking directly to the subconscious avoids the lazy part of the brain and goes to the powerhouse making change effortless and easy.

Use what stage hypnotists do as an example of how powerful your subconscious truly is, sure I can make you raise your hand or make you touch your nose... But only because it is something that you typically do anyways. You cannot make someone do something against their moral compass under hypnosis. There are two sides to hypnosis, which are Hypnotherapy and stage hypnosis.
I like to think of it as medical and recreational,
both have different objectives. One is for other peoples kicks and giggles and the other being for personal self gain, allowing hypnosis to be your medium to the change you have been looking for. 

What Can Hypnotherapy Help With?

We all know people use hypnosis to quit smoking and for weight reduction, but what else can hypnotherapy help with?

Can I be Hypnotized?

Hypnosis is a natural state of consciousness, it is the level of relaxation just before sleep. So every night when you are going to sleep, you have to go through this stage to get to sleep. So the answer is yes, if you sleep you can be hypnotized. You may experience hypnosis throughout the day even! When you are zoned out driving and go into auto pilot, or when you are watching TV and loose track of time. You probably were in a deep level of relaxation, what we call hypnosis and where hypnotic suggestions can be highly susceptible.
